Junetta Jamerson
Co-founder & Board Member

A bridge between the past & the future. I'm Junetta Jamerson, and I'm here to activate liberation & spark collective healing through a combination of ancestral wisdom, cultural memory, and radical imagination. I carry deep ancestral medicine that has informed years of work in education, music and event production, the mysteries of plant science, and community uplift. I dedicate this work to my late grandmother, Velma Carter. Email her at junetta@velmacarter.com

Beverley Elliott
Co-Founder & Board Member

Exploring the universe and discovering new worlds. I'm a space scientist, educating and sharing discoveries from my research with NASA on the Mars Curiosity Rover mission. A passionate advocate for Black Women, I'm here to provide motivation, support, and encouragement as we work together to break down barriers and create a more equitable world. I dedicate this work to my Jamaican grandmother, the late Agatha Brown. Email her at beverley@velmacarter.com

Siye Abbensetts
Board Member

I’m Siye: supportive, giving, conscientious, and grounded. I see strengths in others when they can’t see it for themselves. I think therapy is great, and believe in the power of silence and contemplation when envisioning your next level. I’m a lifelong learner who has achieved certificates and degrees while wrapping my arms around the challenges of motherhood. I’m forever thinking outside the box, and I love encouraging Black Women to do the same.
